Hey momoluvers, it's Momo and today I wanted to show you guys how to make Coachella inspired up-do's. These styles add a fun flair, but are casual enough for daily use. I personally like this for 2 or 3 day old hair because it makes it not obvious that you have greasy roots. These are super easy to do on yourself and are just so chic and cute. Let me know what kind of tutorials you want to see in the future! Also, please excuse my frizzy hair, I put it in a braid last night and it just looked like this!

Step 1: Supplies

1. Medium to long hair, wavy or textured

2. Teasing comb with pointed tip

3. Hairspray

4. Bobby pins

5. Small hair ties

Step 2: Tripple Waterfall Twist

For the first hairstyle, I wanted to add a flair to the waterfall twist.

To begin, split your hair down the middle with your teasing comb.

Take a small section of hair from the top and split it in half.

Twist the pieces together once, then string hair through it (over the top piece, under the bottom piece) so that it drops through. (You're not adding this hair to the twist, you are simply stringing it through.

Twist the sections again and repeat. You should have added about 3-4 sections, depending on how thick your hair is.

Repeat on the other side.

Take a small section a little further down your head and repeat.

You can do this as many times as you want, but I would suggest doing 3 twists on each side.

Lightly tug on some sections to create volume and messiness.

Finish with hairspray.

Step 3: Braided Double Buns

For the next style, I wanted to include a trendy look at Coachella this year- the double buns.

Part your hair down the middle with your comb.

Drag your fingers back so that you get a large section from one side at the top.

Pull the hair underneath into a ponytail so you don't pick up strands from the bottom.

Follow the notes in the pictures to see how to do a french braid. If you already know how, keep reading here.

When you finish the braid, put a bobby pin in, pointing towards your face to secure the braid.

Tease the hair lightly and wrap it into a bun. Pin it down wherever it feels loose.

Repeat on the other side.

Just remember- the messier, the better so tug on the bun and braid so they look loose and boho.

Step 4: Twist Bun

This last hairstyle is my favorite and I hope you like it too!

Begin by parting your hair down the middle.

Create another line so that you have a 1-2" section on one side.

Tie the rest of the hair in a ponytail so it's out of the way.

Take a small piece from the front and twist it tightly towards the center part.

Add hair as you work your way to the back of the section, make sure you keep it tight.

Put a bobby pin in the twist, pointing towards your face.

Repeat on the other side.

Tease the sections lightly and twist into a bun, securing it with bobby pins. You can add more hair from the crown of your head if the bun is too small.

Step 5: Finished!

These Coachella inspired looks are so easy to create, I hope everyone tries one out. It looks so festive and fun and it's great to cover up greasy roots!
