Introduction: 3 EASY HAIRSTYLES
Are you bored of leaving your hair open or in a normal ponytail every day? If yes, then below you can learn how to make a half bun, ponytail hiding the hair tie or a messy bun. These hairstyles are very simple to make, they don’t take a lot of time, and they look really cool.
Step 1: Gathering Materials
First of all you will need to make sure that you have all of the materials. It is important to have a hairbrush, as this will make it easier to work with your hair. Furthermore you will need hair ties that fit to your hair, clear elastics, bobby pins, and hairspray. You do not always need hairspray, however it is recommended if you want your hairstyle to last all day.
Step 2: Comb Hair
For this, just take your hairbrush and brush through your hair, so that it is soft.
Step 3: Hairstyle #1 Half Updo Top Knot- Separate Hair
First take the upper half of your hair (as shown in the images above) and put it into a ponytail. Use your normal hair tie for this.
Step 4: Twist Ponytail Into Bun
Take the ponytail and twist it by twirling it around your finger or hand. Then wrap it around in circles to create a bun (as shown in the images above). Use your clear elastic and wrap it around the bun.
Step 5: Pull Out Baby Hairs
Pull out a few of your hairs in order to give the hairstyle a ‘messy’ look. You can decide yourself how many hairs you want to pull out.
Step 6: Hairspray
You can apply hairspray by spraying it around 20 cm far away from your head onto all of your hair. Don’t use too much and be careful that you don’t spray it into your eyes. To protect them you can use your hand to hold it in front of your eyes.
Step 7: Hairstyle #2 Ponytail Hiding the Hair Tie- Make Ponytail
For this hairstyle you will not need the clear elastics. After you have brushed your hair, make a normal ponytail. It does not matter how high you make it. You can decide this yourself. Use a normal hair tie to secure your ponytail.
Step 8: Take Piece of Hair and Wrap Around Ponytail
Take a small piece of your hair and separate it from the rest of your hair. Then spray hairspray in the direction that the hair is going. Use a blow dryer and blow it on this piece of hair. This will make sure that the hair will stay in place. Furthermore it secures them. You should repeat this every time you wrap the piece of hair around the hair tie.
Step 9: Bobby Pin It
Now you use your bobby pins to secure the piece of hair that you have wrapped around the ponytail. Put one or two bobby pins, with the wavy part facing to your head, through the piece of hair.
Step 10: Hairspray
Apply hairspray where you secured the piece of hair. Then just roughly spray over your head to keep them in place.
Step 11: Hairstyle #3 Messy Bun- Make High Ponytail
After you have brushed your hair, make a high ponytail, but don’t pull through all of your hair (as shown in the images above)
Step 12: Bun
Use your bobby pins to create the bun. This step is difficult to explain in words, therefore please look at the images above.
Step 13: Hairspray
Finally, apply hairspray to secure your hair.
