Introduction: 3 Things You Can Make From Roll-On Deodorant Bottles

If you use Roll-On deodorants, you might want to save those empty bottles as they can be used for DIY projects.

In this Instructbale, we look at 3 Things you can me Roll-On Deodorant bottles.

Step 1: Camera Holder

I removed the ball and cut off the thread.

Step 2: Camera Holder

I made some space in the lid for a magnet. To give it more weight, it was covered with cement.

Then I put in the threaded ring and let the cement to set.

Step 3: Camera Holder

I drilled 2 holes in the ball, so I could put in a bolt.

Step 4: Camera Holder

I filled the ball with hot glue.

Step 5: Camera Holder

Then I glued the ball holder.

Step 6: Camera Holder

I made a few cuts in the holder.

Then I put in the ball and secured it with a hose clamp.

Step 7: Camera Holder

We have made a camera holder. You can adjust the angle and secure the ball with a clamp.

Magnet will let you attach the camera to magnet-friendly surfaces.

Great for taking pictures in cities (bridges, street poles, etc)

Step 8: KeyChain

I removed the ball and drilled a hole in it.

Step 9: KeyChain

I cut out a Youtube logo from a ribbon I had.

You can also use stickers.

I glued it inside of the ball.

Step 10: KeyChain

I filled the ball with hot glue and added a handle from a binder clip.

Step 11: KeyChain

We have made a ball key-chain.

Step 12: LED FlashLight

I did the same thing again. Took out the ball, cut off the thread etc.

I drilled 3 holes in the ball for LED's

Step 14: LED FlashLight

I also drilled a hole for the button.

Step 15: LED FlashLight

Then I soldered LED's to the button and battery connectors.

I used 2 x 2032 batteries and connectors.

Step 16: LED FlashLight

Some more gluing and it was time to put it all together.

Step 17: LED FlashLight

That's it!

Our LED flashlight is ready.
