Introduction: 30mm. Filter Thread on JVC GC-XA1 Adixxion Camera

This is how I added a 30mm. filter thread to my JVC GC-XA1 Adixxion Camera. I did this with hand tools, but I would have like to have a lathe for the drilling.

Now it is possible to ad any kind of filter, lens hood or lense with 30mm. thread. You could also add step-up rings to the filter size of your choice.

What you need:

JVC GC-XA1 Adixxion Camera
Drill Press Or Lathe
30mm. Spade Drill
Hacksaw
2 Component Epoxy Glue
Torx Size 6 Screwdriver
Small Phillips Screwdriver
Metal Files
Plastic PVC Drainpipe Stopper
Vernier Caliper
