Picture of 3D Cookies
A friend had a "Dead Rock and Roll" theme Halloween party last Saturday evening. Everyone had to come dressed as there favorite dead rockstar. I was asked to bring something sweet to eat, so with all the hype over 3D movies these last couple of years, I wanted to make a special yummy treat that would have that 3D magic. You can use any rubber stamp image to make these cookies. It was so  easy to make and it was a huge hit at the party! Everyone was walking around with their 3D glasses on eating the 3D rock and roll cookies - it was so much fun!!!!

I do not want to be killjoys, but you can not have 3D effect if both images are identical, as in this case. In fact, if you see the images with red-cyan glasses, you do not see stereo view.
I was just thinking the same, but I wonder if instead the picture will be 2D, yet "jump out" from the surface, kinda like a magic eye picture.
Yes, it is so.

How do you actualy "stamp" the fondant? - Do you just press down lightly on the felt to transfer the colouring?

Yes - just pickup some color from the felt then press into the fondant.
