Introduction: 3D Game Support for Oculus Rift

With the release of the Oculus Rift looming in the near future http://oculusvr.com, many developers are integrating this unique device into their games. But most of the games you already have do not offer device support.

In this instructable, I'm going to show you how you can setup your games to work with the Oculus Rift. It is one of the most simple processes, and it is worth the 5 minutes it takes to set up.

What you need:
- A computer with a decent graphics card
- TriDef 3D (Full or 14 day free trial)
- Some games
- An Oculus Rift or other VR headmount

Step 1: Download TriDef

Next you will want to download TriDef 3D (http://tridef.com) and run the installer. It should be self-explanatory, but if you run into issues, post a comment. Once it is installed, launch the application "TriDef 3D Portal"  and proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Set Up Your Games

Now click on the button "Play 3D Games" and highlight a game from the list of supported games on your computer. Now click on the Tools Tab, go to Display Settings and choose "Side by Side (Paralell)" in the "Model" menu. Then hit the  Apply button and launch the game.

That's it! Now you can play all of your video games in the Oculus Rift VR Headmount. Enjoy and Share!
