You might have seen earlier instructables such as 3D projection pyramid they all contain the hologram design as pyramid. But in this tutorial I am going to shown you how to make a full screen covering 3 slide 3D projection this is clear and bright.See a video of it working :-

## Step 1: Things Required to Make It

To make hologram you need :-

1. Clear plastic box or sheet (sweet box will work)
2. Marking pencil or marker
3. Ruler
4. A pair of scissors
5. Smartphone

This is all you need for this.

## Step 2: Measuring the Smartphone

Take scale and measure the screen dimensions of your smartphone .The screen dimensions of my Xperia m dual are 5 cm * 9 cm .It depends upon your smartphone size.

## Step 3: Pieces Measurement

My phone's length of screen vertically was 9 cm so after every 3 cm I will Join a piece as it is 5 cm wide so make every piece 5 cm wide. Now you need 9 cm plastic stick that would act as base for it (joining) and the last piece should be opaque covering the three vertically standing pieces.

## Step 4: Cutting the Pieces

Using the marker mark the dimensions over plastic sheet and using a scissor or a blade cut them out .Use a paper for the last piece. Now we have total 6 pieces.

## Step 5: Joining

With hot glue or some other strong glue join the pieces .Make sure that the angle between the vertically standing piece and screen should be of 45 degrees for every piece.

## Step 6: Joining the Roof

Use duct tape or epoxy to join the paper to the plastic sheet cover the top portion only .And now your hologram is ready !

## Step 7: Searching Videos on Youtube

I think this project would be loved by all of you and kids especially .This is a fun project involving virtual images .Some youtube videos suitable for this hologram are :-

You might love it.Keep enjoying with this hologram .

Thanks!

This is so... very cool! Well done!

Wow, do you think it might work with acetone sheets? This is one of the coolest things I've seen.

It can work but if they are not so much strong then you need to support them using sticks! thank you too much friend! best of luck for your project!

How thick should the plastic sheet be?

I don't know the exact measurements! sorry but I would prefer you to use old plastic boxes or cellophane paper that is strong enough to be stable on screen!Best of luck for your project!
