3D Print Airsoft Double Barrel Shotgun

Introduction: 3D Print Airsoft Double Barrel Shotgun

About: highly interested in technical designs and engineering

i have finally returned back to instructables and since i have been gone i have advanced my designs and creativity along with the addition of a solidoodle 3D printer, and I'm coming back with a bang! i am into airsoft and after seeing goblins gas powered shotgun shells i wanted to design my own shotgun. My instructable wont be to long because all you need to do is download the files and do the simple assemble but expect more things to come. so here you go!

Step 1: Print Parts

go to the link and download the parts and print!

Step 2: Assembly

assembly instructions can be found on the thingiverse page but i will also add them here, and sorry for the lack of pictures but he assembly is pretty simple. i will upload pics later if needed.

print parts (2 pins)
get 6x32 screws + springs for pins + pins to old barrel to handles
instert pins and springs then make a bur to hold spring on
assemble with screws
and a small screw about 1/4in from the back of the barrel inbetween the barrels
cut small peice of metal to reacch from screw hole in the middle of the handle to the srew, i just used a peice of an erector set

you are my hero! I have never thought of building my own airsoft double barrel shotgun! sadly, i have no 3d printer...

the goblin shells use a small charge of co2 that is filled in the top of the shell and when the button on the back of a shell is pushed the gas is released

I don't have real answer to that because since the shells shoot multiple bbs at once its hard to get and accurate reading but if i had to guess i would say the fps would be about 350ish

That's good, I was expecting they'd be pretty slow like 100 or something. Great project, I wish I could do the same.

This is great, I had the same idea when I saw what 3D printers could do. Unfortunetly this would be very illegal were I live.

i will post a video of it as soon as i get the shells, although i don't have the shells yet i have designed it to use the dimensions of the shells so it will work just i need to wait for the shells to arrive then i will definintly post some videos :)

I believe you mean it SHOULD work; using exact dimensions doesn't necessarily mean that they'll actually fit, or that your system will trigger them properly.

    Let's see it firing!
