Step 1: What Is It About?

The idea is simple. Came to me when I started to be fed up with my older big wallet. It was to big to wear it in the pocket.

I decided to create something handy, but big enough to carry all my valuable things like cash, documents, credit cards and few coins.

Designed wallet is really funcional. Most precious things are inside, but if you want to take few coins quickly you just turn the switch and you can easily pour the money.

Step 2: 3D PRINTING

Ok so lets start printing on Your or someone's else 3d printer.

The object is really easy to print, You just have to put all the parts on their base (see the photo), and print it! :)

In my case, printing on Plug N Play 3d Printer , I just choose layer height Z=0.15 and print without any support.

Printing all parts takes me about 3 hours.

You can use some sandpaper to eliminate some imperfections if you need it. Usually it's not necessary.

Step 3: Fulfill Your Pockets

There are three pockets on the BASE part:

-lowest for cash

-middle height for coins

-highest for documents and cards

Just put all that can merge inside.

Step 4: Putting Coins Plug Switch on the Right Place

Now take the other two parts and gently push the SWITCH through the flat hole which is located on the side of the CAP. When it reaches its limit, plastic knob will block the entrance. Then just push it harder until the knob will go through the hole. End of the SWITCH should be placed in area marked in circle on the photo.

The knob prevents falling of the SWITCH and keeps it tight in the cap.

Step 5: GENTLY APPLY THE CAP...

Step 6: AND IT IS READY TO USE!

<p>finally I' ve done it :) </p><p>sorry for waiting so long, hope you will like it:</p><p><a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1749733">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1749733</a></p>
<p>I had totally forgot about this project because I was doing something else intensively.</p><p>Thank you for the idea, I will put it to myminifactory soon</p>
<p>Can you please give us the links of myminifactory?</p><p>Thingiverse also has now tip system and it works with PayPal. </p>
<p>Have you found someone through whom you can sell this product?</p><p>If not, could you put it on myminifactory or thingiverse untill you have found a seller?</p><p>(I'd recomend myminifactory because you can get tipped by people and receive actual money for the item.)</p>
<p>Hey mate - did you end up getting somewhere to sell these? I would love to buy one. Just checking in as 5 months later.</p>
<p>Hi Simon, I ve been developing the idea in free time and now negociating with some people. Soon I will know something more. Cheers</p>
<p>I have seven printers at my school, and I need a wallet, I NEED THE FILES</p>
<p>how to buy that</p><p>things</p>
<p>I will inform you when it will be possible, </p><p>Cheers</p>
<p>Could you mail me the files or put them onto thingiverse so that we can print this beatiful looking project?</p>
<p>Thank you for your kind words about the project. It will be commercial used now</p>
<p>Where are the files? I'm curious about wanting to try this out.</p>
<p>as I said to Jonas... but still, soon I will upload different non commercial projects</p>
<p>I'm sorry but where can I find the files?</p>
<p>Hi, I'm really sorry. I had to remove them due to comercial use of project. </p><p>Regards!</p>
<p>very cool idea </p>
Cool!
<p>We have a 3D print class tomorrow, i will try it !</p>
I really like the different levels for different contents. Nice design!
<p>Thank you Kyle. </p><p>Different levels for different contents is just the funcionality. </p><p>Biggest pocket for cards (international size) - big enough to hold them tight but small enough to easily grab them. </p><p>Height of cash pocket was dictated by font size of my country's money . Take a look at visible &quot;50&quot; bill behind 1 dollar bill on one of photos (cash inserting step). </p><p>Coins pocket height is just to make it different from the others</p>
That's really clever! Especially because wallets are way too expensive. =D
<p>Thanks! Material used to print this wallet is around 30 grams - which means about 1,5 dollar/euro for good quality plastic ABS, with cheap material even less, maybe 0.7 dollar. </p><p>It would be hard to find that cheap wallet:)</p><p>Offcourse to that price you should add the electricity cost and price of your 3d printer and it won't be that nice:)</p>
<p>Woah, i really love it!<br>These are the kind of projects thet makes me want a 3d printer :D</p>
<p>Thanks, 3d printing can be awesome (and it is!) but sometimes it can be also really annoying and time consuming, because of failed prints and searching for the cause of these fails. But still I wish you a 3d printer:)</p>
<p>To nie będzie się samo otwierało?</p>
<p>samo nie, tylko przy nacisku na wajche. To wszystko dość ciasno tam siedzi.</p>
Haha I love it, I wish I had a printer though or I would make a half a dozen of these!
Thanks! I'm grateful that You appreciated my project. <br>I also use few of them: <br>-Wooden as a regular one<br>-Slim Black with no holes for a night life<br>-White for my projects hand model and my future wife:)
