3x3x3 LED Cube with optional pc-control
This is my 3x3x3 led cube. Original is he controlled with a pic16f628a. It has 27 leds and each of them can be controlled by the pic. You can see below a video of my cube with the pic.

I have a file, voorbeeldprogramma.hex, also uploaded so you can make it.




PC Control
Also i have controlled the cube with a computer. I have used a max232. As you can see in the image above, there is an optional print. One side goes on the cube, the other on the serial port at the computer. The schematic in the images
