Step 4Rear Hub/Sprocket

Rear Hub/Sprocket
The rear hub we used is designed as a "dual disc" front hub. It has a standard mountain bike 6 bolt disc pattern on both sides. We took a blank 66 tooth rear sprocket and drilled it to accept the 6 bolt pattern. The alignment of the hub, sprocket, and disc rotor are critical.

I checked out your link Q5Quint, but those hubs are not what you want to use. Now i may be wrong but i think the hub he used here are a lot higher quality, aluminum and possibly sealed bearings. If your going to spend money on this thing don't skimp on the hubs, motor or brakes. I am also very interested in what these hubs here are as i can't locate them on the net either. -D

Where did you get that dual disk hub from? I've always thought it would be cool to have two rotors on the front of my bike but have never seen the parts like this. Do you know where I might find a dual disk fork as well?
