And that's it. Insert two AA batteries or rechargeables and switch it on. Every time you switch it on, it displays another one of the preprogrammed animation or text messages.

You can choose to solder an additional 20-pin socket. That way you can swap the controller out of the socket to reprogram it.

My best bet is, you probably wouldn't. Unless you found a snap-over connector, but the LED's might overload the programmer :)
