Note:a very simple conversion to USB. Just replace the battery cap with the USB port. The negative of the port should be to your left, while inserting. Same circuit works with 5V (USB) or a 6V battery or a 9V battery, as pictured.

cool but it has nothing to do with USB. get rid of the 9v battery and use the 5v from the usb to power it!

Yeah, but you didnt make it with usb, any 9 volt project can be made into usb, but it still isnt usb powered.

And trust me, I think I know about USB, I have cut it up a few times for it's constant 5 volt power
