Note:a very simple conversion to USB. Just replace the battery cap with the USB port. The negative of the port should be to your left, while inserting. Same circuit works with 5V (USB) or a 6V battery or a 9V battery, as pictured.

cool but it has nothing to do with USB. get rid of the 9v battery and use the 5v from the usb to power it!

Yeah, but you didnt make it with usb, any 9 volt project can be made into usb, but it still isnt usb powered.

Read again, carefully - when you "replace the battery cap" with a USB, it becomes usb powered, wherein you insert it in the USB slot.

The USB slot is 5V, with the negative wire to your extreme left, while inserting and positive to the extreme right. the middle two unused wires are for data, which we dont use.

Anyone who has tried a USB based project knows it...

Very apt user name, i must say!!

    ;-)

Ok, but you didnt tell how to make a USB single led sensor night light, you told how to make a 9volt might light.

And trust me, I think I know about USB, I have cut it up a few times for it's constant 5 volt power
