Wire up the motor, power cable and switch, please shield everything and use a three wire power cable so you can ground it.

I had a left over modem case that I put my power switch in, you can use whatever you like as long as you shield it.

Note: after operation, if you dont discharge the sphere you can get a shock from the power switch.

from where does the belt gets charged i mean dont u have to use a power supply or battery

how much potential difference is created between the sphere and the ground. its really cool. it solved a major problem of gettng a HV power supply.

Well, the sphere will build up a positive charge of around 900,000 volts at 27micro amps. A larger sphere will give you more voltage.
