I got tired of the door slamming shut when the overhead door was open and the day was breezy. I took an old brake rotor, some rust inhibitor and some spray paint and made the "manly" item. I inserted a bolt into one of the holes to grab the bottom of the door. I just push it with my foot in front of the door to prop open. One could put 2 bolts in to prop front/back of door to allow door to stay in any position. The strongest wind has not even budged the door yet.
