Step 2: Operation

The_set.jpg
The remote controls every operation the RGB lamp.
Remote control channel buttons 1, 2 and 3 pull up R, G and B intensity, buttons 4, 5 and 6 pull down the intensity; Channel up and channel down buttons shuffle through the 10 stored values of R G & B intensity.
You can access directly the preset with the 'volume+' button followed by the preset number (0 to 9). You can store your preferred colour pressing 'volume-' followed by the preset number (0 to 9).
The power on/off button does exactly what you might expect : it turns on and off the lamp.

Hello, Nice design, the remote option is what I'am looking for. Can you tell me were to buy a remote which is compatible with your "hex file"?. Kind regards Marcel.

Sorry Marcel I did not notice your comment earlier. I must check my Inbox more frequently...
Now, your question. *any* Philips TV remote should work. I tried a few Philips branded as well not branded (i.e. without the official Philips logo on it) and they worked. I also tried a very cheap multi-brand programmable TV remote configured for Philips TVs and it worked too.
It should be easy to find one at any dept.store, do not spend much on it, this adds fun !

Build it and post pictures !

Ciao
