Step 10Yeahhhhhh I rock, and my Amp is just sooooo good.
On my Uber Kool - "Work Positioner"
Far out.
**Actually - Ok - I findihed off the Amp and Speaker bins I had been building for a long time,
I was riding THE loudest Harely ever built in Australia.... for a long time.... - even with ear plugs, it used to give me headaches...
I have had things go wrong with explosives and power tools... and so the cumulative damage means that my right ear was just about to the edge of permanent hearing damage - or "ringing in the ear".
The novelty of HEARING and FEELING really deep powerful rolling BASS - after years of listening to those pissy $10 computer speakers - was a real treat....
What you are actually hearing on the vid is CRYSTAL CLEAR music - it's soooooo LOUD the mike on the camera, and it's audio input circuitry - are distorting to the max.
So while I am going "FAR OUT" -
In reality - Being in a small room with a super loud amp, with NO hearing protection - This is extremely STUPID -
This Amp IS really really LOUD, it's in a confined area, which condenses the SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL - much like singing in the toilet with the door closed, - is wayyyyyyy louder than singing in the open air - and thanks to my "Golly Jee - you can feel the whole room and my whole body vibrate - it's just soooooooo loud" - I now have permanent hearing damage.
Tinititus ? or ringing in the ears...
Now if I want to keep whatever is left of my hearing, it's earplugs up on stage, in rehearsals and when using power tools etc.
Uhh well we live and learn - well we hope we get too.
