so you've played ACIII?
I HAVEN'T!!!!! XD
You've probably wanted to make your own Assassin. So here's how you do it.

Step 1: Step 1: the Coat

The first thing you need is the coat.
the coat can be bought here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Assassins-Leather-Conner-Kenway-Cosplay/dp/B00BOX65AG/ref=sr_1_11?s=clothing&ie=UTF8&qid=1364143188&sr=1-11
it comes in:
Blue and white
Black and Blue
Green and White
Red and Black
Red and White
White and Purple
Black and Purple (Female exclusive)
You buy this Coat to your size or just an extra large.
I chose the Red and Black. i like the dark colours for an assassin.

Step 2: Step 2: the Shirt and Trousers.

BLACK: white shirt
WHITE: White shirt

Usually a pair of Blue Jeans on the White/Black and blue Coat is a nice compliment
A pair of Black Jeans with the Black and Red suited mine.
Green trousers go with the Green Coat, which isn't a popular coat either.
Black jeans just go with the rest of the Coats.

BOOTS:
The Boots would be Black or Brown.

Step 3: Step 3: the Weapon

you can choose any weapon to wield. I chose the Tomahawk.
the weapon links are here:

the Black Flag Hidden Blade is only for Preorder until 20th october 2013

Step 4: Step 4: an Insignia

the last thing you need is an insignia.
i'd go with the ACIII insignia.
build a 1:1 scale template of the insignia from cardboard, Stretch it around your stomach so you get a feel of it (LITERALLY)
paper mache it and keep it within shape.
when it's dry, smoothen it, spray paint it silver and let it dry.
now attach two brown strips to either side and fix them down somehow, then velcro around the back. try it on to see if it fits snugly.
when that's done, you should have your own Assassin.
Put it all on in this order.

Shirts
Trousers
Belly Belt
Coat
Weapon.

Now Assassinate Templars!

the coat also comes in black and white, ive got one

The original manufacture of that coat is Volante design, I am pretty sure that is a leather knock off. Check out his store at http://www.volantedesign.us/

Sorry, but this is not DIY, this is go and buy the stuff...

worst

Is this supposed to be the NYC version of Connor?

yup

Oh...

all i'm missing are the leg, trouser things

So it's all just "BUY THE STUFF ONLINE AND USE IT" ?? :-\
actually you can make a hidden blade, i have one done from a drawer slide and it's classed as an illegal weapon, i'm working on making a gauntlet from vinyl for it.
Ooh I'm calling the police!

someone's at the door, lol

PUT YOUR HANDS UP!

Pretty much, i am a disaster with sewing.
i managed to sew myself to my project with a sewing machine
i have failed at manual sewing so until i can properly sew, i am using this method.
Did it hirt when u sewed urself??

oh hell yeah.

i call it
"cosplay consumerism" or "cosplay for the hand eye co-ordination handicapped"
Nice job.!!.check out mine what u think? made out of card boards and tape lol Vote if you like show some love in return :-)
Your power loader is superb!
Volante design created the original jacket. This Amazon guy is a rip off and is illegally using his pictures to advertise a sub-par jacket.

Blog.volantedesign.us
http://blog.volantedesign.us/post/52141660217
http://blog.volantedesign.us/post/36147514954
if you ried to sue Amazon, they'd rip you apart XD
