After viewing the instructable for a drink coaster based lamp, (http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-make-a-Vodka-Lamp-or-any-other-booze-bottl/) I knew there had to be an easier way than cutting through all those coasters. I found that an Absolut Vodka bottle mates perfectly with a 5oz. tuna can.
Simply place a press button light just shorter than the height of the empty tuna can in the bottom. Turn the light on and sit the bottle on top for full illumination. Or you can quickly create a sturdy base by gluing supports inside the can.
Total project cost was $1.50. One dollar for the press button light, and 50 cents for the can of tuna.

-One push button light shorter than the height of the can.
-One 5 inch piece of material for supports. I used a 1/8" diameter bamboo skewer. Pen casings, small dowels, drinking straws, any small diameter material will suffice.
-One glue gun. I used hot glue for setup speed. Regular glue or even tape will work. You could drill holes through the bottom and insert bolts for a more industrial look.
-One fine tooth hand saw for flush cuts.
-One Absolut Vodka bottle.
