Adapt IPhone Headphones to Work With Mophie Case

Step 1: Problem

The Mophie Juice Pack is a great addition to any iPhone but the bottom portion causes problem if you want to use your regular headphones. The case extends below the bottom of the phone and has ports that redirect sound from the speakers. This works great for the speakers but the portion is too long and you can't connect headphones because the grip by the plug is too short.

Step 2: Step One.

Sugru is the perfect solution to this problem. Make sure you wash your hands throughly be cause the sugru will pick up any stray lint as you can see from the photos. Work a small part of the 5g pack and add just enough to the headphone cord to extend beyond the phone case.

Step 3: Step 2

Wait five to ten minutes and begin to smooth out the surface of the sugru using a light touch with your fingertips.

Step 4: Step 3

Allow to dry overnight where the sugru is not touching anything. One of Sugru's claim to fame is it's ability to stick to nearly anything.

Step 5: Enjoy

Let your kid make something with the rest of the pack because Sugru does not save. No photos of the project in use because I am using my phone to take pictures but you get the idea
