We have several greyhounds and foster newly retired racers as well. Among the many physiological uniquenesses of greyhounds is their thin skin. This combined with the nature of our backyard leads to the occasional laceration. In order to keep these wounds clean in the healing process we have a selection of boots, some waterproof and some not. My wife made the comment it would be great it we could dry out the non-waterproof ones with the boot dryer/warmer my in-laws gave me for Christmas. So I decided to build adapters that would let me accomplish this.

Are those TheraPaws boots?

They are "Walkin' Wheels" brand. They are intended for dogs who have the wheel chair apparatus, but they work just fine on our greyhounds. We also have some bigger ones from Medipaws which are good for covering larger sections of the leg when they have big bandages. We got both from: http://handicappedpets.com/www/index.php

Thanks for the link. I talk to a lot of people with handicapped pets and it will be nice to have another source to direct them to.

Love the McGuyveresque use of materials at hand, too.

Nice! You foster retired greyhounds, that's really cool.

Yeah, they are great dogs. I wasn't a dog person until I met my wife's greyhound. Now I can't get enough of them. They are like potato chips, you just can't stop at one. :)
