Introduction: Add Some Flavor to Your USB Drive

I recently got a Sandisk Cruzer Micro USB drive and was disappointed to see that a lot of people have the same one at school.
As far as I know they only come in black and since so many people had the same one as me I wanted to be able to separate mine from everyone else's.
While I was trying to think of ways to do it, the guy in front of me threw his gum wrapper on the floor. I slipped my USB drive in and it was a perfect fit!

Since i've done this everyone that has seen it has loved it.

So add some flavor to your USB drive.

Step 1: Materials

The things you will need to do this are:

1) 5 pack of gum
2) SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB drive (or any other drive of similar size)
3) Knife or scissors
4) Tape

Step 2: Cut the Gum Wrapper to Size

(The blue is the old one that I did, and was already cut.)
Cut the gum wrapper so that the USB drive fits perfectly inside.

After doing that cut a small hole in one of the corners so you can connect it to the key ring.

Step 3: Cut a Space for the Slider

Using an exacto knife or scissors make a small square hole in the side of the gum wrapper so that you are able to retract the connector.

Step 4: Secure It.

If you have double sided tape stick it along the inside of the gum wrapper opposite the side with the hole for the slider.
The tape is just so the wrapper doesn't slip off accidentally.
If you don't have double sided tape just use regular tape folded over.

That's pretty much it, you'd be surprised how many people actually think you have a stick of gum on your keychain!
