Now we are ready to remove the headlight switch from the old panel and place it into the new panel. Carefully remove the switch by prying the holding clips with your finger or small flat head screw driver. There are three clips total, two on one side with a larger single clip on the other. Don't forget to remove the headlight switch wiring harness from the switch. I forgot to take a picture of that, but just depress the side of the harness that has a tab that clips into the socket, then gently pull it out. That is all there is to removing the parts that need to be placed into the new dash panel. Now, reverse the steps and install the headlight switch in the new panel and connect the wiring harness. Now it is time to connect the DIC wiring harness to the DIC buttons as shown in the second photo below.
