Adding emotion to your money

We tend to get pretty emotional about our money, but what if your bills we're able to smile at you when you get them and frown when they're leaving you. They can!

Materials: A bill! any denomination, as long as it has a famous person on it

Step 1: First fold

Fold the bill towards the reverse through the left pupil of the portrait. This is a mountain fold for all you origami people. line up the upper edge of the bill to ensure a perpendicular crease. use your finger nail to make a good crease. Straighten out the fold.

Oh, dude, I just remembered...If the bill has a pic of sm1 looking head on (like ours) you vave to make the creases in a V shape to line up the eyeballs (further apart) and the mouth edges (less wide)...Thats 4 any of you who have bills with the ppl on them staring straight at you in that spooky way...

You're probably right, though I wonder what the "new tech" equivalent is for laughing and frowning money...maybe some 101 year old Japanese origami master living in the hole of Mt. Fuji can make currency come alive and do chores for him ;)
True though that we have to let go to move forward, although I have seen ASCII art that blows the mind...and then there's the in-between--there's this video on youtube i saw years ago that shows this guy "painting" the Mona Lisa with MS Paint or some similar simple illustration program. Filmed in high speed it was amazing to see how close he came with just a simple app. I guess to be considered a Photoshop Master, one has to create something that absolutely shatters belief, you know, since the program is so powerful and all...

Thanks for reminding me about this trick. I remember sitting through Friday chapel service back in grade school folding our first president into a smiling Chinese dude... \ \ ......screw it, i could never do ASCII Art...hahaha!
