Against global warming

I am something worried by the global warming, and I try to make the little thing that it is within my reach to avoid it, or at least not to contribute to increase it.

One of the human attitudes that increase the problem is the waste economy. I know that my behavior won't change the course of the history, but I trust in that there are millions as me distributed by the planet. Surely not in the countries of the this way called "first world" that they spend millions of tons of valuable resources per second without true necessity, but yes in Latin America, África and other places not so "developed".

Step 1: A grain of sand in the desert

Among the countless ways of avoiding the waste, today I present you a way to take advantage of the deodorant until the last drop.

I use roll deodorant because it is more economic, I like it more than spray, it is more portable and it works better. If I use it "usually" until it ends, it is always in the bottom a quantity that I have checked that it is good more for three or four days. That which is not anything worthless.

If we tackle the underlying assumption here then we can make even greater savings. That is that we need to use deodorant (this is different than antiperspirant) at all. The smell comes from decomposing bacteria. Just make sure that you get the day's remains off by vigorous scrubbing and you will find that the next day's underarm fragrance is benign. I haven't used deodorant for 10 years after I was told this. And no-one notices.

Say, an excuse to say it. I believe that all humanity is making improper use of resources, beyond whether or not that the cause of global warming, which can be discussed for a long time.

just don't expect the media to change anytime soon either: 1) Media continues to downsize and reduce its pay scale (far below that of a meteorologist's salary,) and 2) A meteorologist would seek a balanced story and not agree to a sensational headline written by an activist editor. Our climate does change -- always has and always will, but we little humans in westernized cultures only live on average of 75 years and not all of that time is dedicated to observing and disseminating data. So, the best solution for now is to question those who believe in the theory of global warming, beginning with your hometown newsroom. There is no better example of inept reporting than a recent article by LiveScience on the encroaching tree line across Canada's arctic tundra.

Apologies, It was recently investigated (and found to be true) that figures for temperature change were false. The "Data" was false, biased, and altered to benefit a political agenda. What Agenda, or plan, appears to be either a distraction for the public, or simply another way for the government to control people, World Wide.

By the way, a couple things didn't make sense to me:

We were using "Green Light bulbs" to cut down on emissions. L.E.Ds are, and will always be more efficient.

The process for the creation of a hybrid car causes more damage than a diesel fueled truck. The battery's byproducts are extremely hazardous to the enviroment.



This is not an excuse for people, organizations, or the government to be wasteful, but it's wrong to deceive the common man for his absolute loyalty to a cause.

Indeed The Earth is quite old, and it has been through this many times. The global temperature soars, and then it falls. The earth will survive, life will adapt. Even if humans are causing a large portion of Global Warming it does not matter. I am all for doing what we can to protect our home and keep it clean, but even if Humans never used fossil fuels, light a single fire, or passes gas. This would still happen. It is inevitable. We can only hope that we all survive long enough to stop waring over resources and find a way to colonize the stars. Which of course brings its own ethical issues.

Yes, I agree with you. I eat meat, but I don't kill neither cows nor chickens without necessity. Although the global warming-up was not a fault of the human beings, that does not change the fact that we should be a little more respectful with the nature. global warming is a load of garbage. if we are warming up, it isn't our fault. think about this: according to al-gore's graph the oceans rise before the carbon dioxide levels. this can mean only one thing. the oceans are giant masses of liquid. these giant masses of liquid store carbon dioxide and other gases. when the oceans release even the slightest bit of "greenhouse gases", (mostly water vapor actually) this is probably because it is dissolving more soluble compounds. it can't just keep dissolving things. it has to get rid of the less soluble compounds that it is already storing such as salt, or numerous other substances. also, water vapor is responsible for up to 70% of reflected sunlight. carbon dioxide is responsible for up to 6%. Humans are currently responsible for approximately 12% of all carbon dioxide production. this means that humans contribute approximately 0.0072 % of global warming if the current calculations are correct plus whatever other gases we make which are not blamed. like I said previously, al gore is full of it, his house puts out 20 times more pollutants than everyone else's and humans aren't responsible for global warming.

I agree with you in the sense that we are contributing to air pollution and water pollution. It has been proven that the world is heating up. I just think that global warming is not our biggest concern right now because the citizens of a country can hardly do anything to slow the process of global warming. I believe in global warming, I just don't think that humans are responsible for it. did you know that the spot in Antarctica is colder than ever even with the ozone hole? Also, in Al-Gore's movie, he used a computer animated clip from another movie "the day after tomorrow" to stress the effects of global warming. We should be focusing on the "dead zones" in our oceans, places where nothing lives within a 250 mile radius. -your 'automatic translator English' is easily understandable.

Global waring is what we humans call seasons. But till now we couldn't exactly keep tabs on parts of the world like Alaska. And it cost more cool to make an gallon of ethanol that will be and equal ratio to a gallon of gas AND simply wiping all carbon (BTW the whole world is carbon based) and terrorism is a bigger threat because it is something that we can do something about and that kills people not icecaps.
