Air Cannon

This is the air cannnon i have made recently. This is my second air cannon. The first one turned out to be a fail. It is 1 1/2 inch for the chambers and 1/2 inch for the barrel. Made out of all stuff from the hardware store. I have a double chamber so it can be fired mutilple times on one fill up. It can shoot anything that fits in a 1/2 inch barrel unless I get a reducer to make it a bigger barrel. I also recently added another valve right by the bike tire valve because it kept leaking. It is really fun to shoot.
I shot at AA battery through a old pop can from about 10 feet away and it went through both sides and through about 1 inch of styrofoam.

I like to shoot:
homemade nail darts
nerf darts
a piece of napkin with a lot of airsoft bbs in it
AA batteries

i see in your first photo you have a large elbow and then a smaller elbow. from past experience that reduces you air flow and you loss power. my advice is where the small elbow is replace it with the large 1 and there add an reducer after that to go to 1/2 inch

you may want to put some pvc at the front to stop the chamber from bending

I actually just came up with the idea after my first attempt because it failed so i knew how to make it better. After that i just played it by ear and kept making modifications to it.
