“Hallelujah” is the second single Alicia Keys released from her upcoming (yet untitled) studio album - learn how to play it on piano with this tutorial!
Alicia Keys performed the song live for the first time on Saturday Night Live (SNL) in May 2016, and it was released as a single in June. It follows the release of her previous single “In Common”.
The powerful piano ballad (backed by some strings and clapping) features her characteristic voice at its best - but the song sounds great when performed just on piano as well!
The lyrics include the powerful lines:
