Introduction: Aliens: Nerf Pulse Rifle

About: Just a huge movie geek, looking to get a little bit of the movies in my life.

"Hey Ripley, don't worry. Me and my squad of ultimate badasses will protect you! Check it out! Independently targeting particle beam phalanx. Vwap! Fry half a city with this puppy. We got tactical smart missiles, phase-plasma pulse rifles, RPGs, we got sonic electronic ball breakers! We got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks." -Hudson (Aliens)

Ok, now, not all of my instructables are going to be of Aliens. This was made before I had an account, so some photos will be missing. Now for some supplies!

Nerf Long-shot
Nerf Recon
Camo spray paint
Black Spray paint
Paper
Cardboard
Strawberrys
markers

Step 1: The Plan

What I did for the gun was take the front of the Nerf Long-Shot and cut the top off of it, I then took the recon and removed the cocking thing. Then I took pieces of cardboard and made it into the shape. of the top. This is a picture if my plan.

Step 2: Taking Shape

I put paper mache around the cardboard to get the shape just right. At first I had painted the gun black and the paper mache a dark green That was a bad Idea, because it looked to dark. The real color of the paper mache part is a camo color, I found some paint at walmart, and it was perfect. the amo clip was the same.

Step 3: Counter

the counter was done by using two pieces of cardboard, a strawberry container, and a printed image. on my computer I made a picture of the counter. and printed it out. I cut a square out of the cardboard that fit the shape of the printed paper. Then I cut out a piece of the strawberry container for the screen. I painted the cardboard the color of the gun, and glued the pieces together and then onto the gun.

Step 4: Any Suggestions

For detail I put a small piece of black tape on the bottom. I am still trying to find a way to make it possible to cock it back. If you have any suggestions, please post them below.
