Step 8Tacking the Head Tube and Down Tube

Tacking the Head Tube and Down Tube
Again skipping the mitering steps, the head tube and down tube are tacked together as shown in the Paterek manual. If you're building it lugless, this is done free-form by holding the down tube in a Park stand and using some rod or pipe in the head tube to balance it in place.

This step has nothing to do with the jig - I'm just including it for continuity. Refer to the Paterek manual for more information.
