My Neighbor Totoro is a 1988 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli.

Outer Eyes x2 (White yarn):
R1: 3 SC into ring (3 SC)

R3: *SC 1, 2-SC INC into next SC * around. (9 SC)
R4: * SC 2, 2- SC INC into next SC * around. (12 SC)

Inner Eyes x2 (Black yarn):
Tie the yarn in a knot three times and then attach to the center of the white outer eye pieces.

Assembly:
Using the long tail attach the tummy to the front middle of the body. Attach the ears to the top of the head. Attach the arms to the sides of the body. Attach the tail to the lower bottom of the back of the body. Push the needle through the body and make the little marking on the tummy. Attach the eyes and use black yarn to make the nose mouth and whiskers.

I love these. And my 5yo daughter wants to cuddle them.
Great work! Can we expect a cat bus?
Totoro is a family favourite and can even be found in the background of photos from my workshop.
