I'm a Maths teacher in primary school and I love to use amigurumi to teach. :) These are the 6 characters I've invented and crocheted for my class.

I know I can't win in the Amigurumi contest because I live in Italy, but I want to enter just because I like to take part in it and I like to have my works be listed with similar ones.

I love to do amigurumi, I'm kind addicted.

I use these amigurumi to teach Maths, and other subjects.

"Tailchaser goes to the markets and buys 4 red apples and 5 yellow apples. How many apple he buys?"
This is more interesting, for my pupils, than if I wrote it with "mother", "uncle" or "Miss white".

I won't tell you the colours in this pattern, because you should use what you need.

sc = single crochet
inc = increasing sc
dec = decreasing sc
sl = slip stitch

Feet (make 2)
In a magic ring:
5 sc (5)
5 inc (10)
*1 inc 1 sc** 5 time (15)
*1 inc 2 sc** 5 time (20)
*1 inc 3 sc** 5 time (25)
*1 inc 4 sc** 5 time (30)
30 sc (30) for 4 rounds
*1 dec 4 sc** 5 time (25)
*1 dec 3 sc** 5 time (20)
Stuff
*1 dec 2 sc** 5 time (15)
*1 dec 1 sc** 5 time (10)
5 dec (5)
Fasten off and sew the hole.

Legs (make 2)
with blue (or red/fuxia/light blue/gray.... for T'Pol; white for Phlox)
16 ch
join with a slip stitch
16 sc for 20 rounds (or until you are satisfied with the length).
Sew to the foot.
Stuff legs.
