You will need:
-1/8" Acrylic
-1/4" Acrylic
-Glue
-Silicone
-Acrylic Paint

Step 1: Laser Cut

We used a Full Spectrum Laser Hobby Laser

Laser cut the 3 different shapes you'll need.
Included are the files "Vase Walls" Which include the engraved raster and the two clear cutouts for the inner walls.
The "Vase Spacers" are 4 spacers that will give the vase it's depth.

The "Vase Walls" file has a yellow bounding box to ensure that the raster and vector shapes remain aligned. Do not mark the yellow line. Engrave the black lines, and cut along the red lines.
Cut the "Acrylic Spacer" file 1 time (4 pieces) for 1/4" acrylic, or 2 times (8 pieces) for 1/8 acrylic.

Step 2: Paint

Take the "Acrylic Heart" and add paint to the engraved side of the piece. This does not need to be neat. When the entire heart is filled, use a dry napkin to wipe off the excess paint. The color should come off of the bare acrylic but cling to the engraved sections. If it does not come off completely, a glass cleaner like Windex should be able to remove any extra paint.

Step 3: Glue

Add glue to the engraved side of the "Acrylic Heart". Use glue on the colored sections to prevent the glue from being visible. Align the clear "Acrylic Wall" to the heart.
This acrylic will be the inside of the vase providing a barrier from the paint.

Next, stack the "Acrylic Spacer" pieces and secure with glue. Glue the stack to the "Acrylic Wall".
Add the second wall to the opposite side of the spacers to seal the vase.
