  • [2] 2x2 green circular arm plates
  • [4] 2x2 green circular raised arm plates
  • [2] 1x4 green Lego blocks

Tools

  • Brick Separator (needed if you want to take apart the Android bot later)

Step 2: Begin to Build First Part of Body

Legos needed:

  • [4] 1x1 black Lego blocks
  • [4] 1x1 green square Lego blocks
  • [1] 2x4 yellow Lego block
  • [1] 2x4 white yellow block
  1. Begin by attaching the green block onto the black block. Stack them against each other, so the green Lego sits on the black Lego's edge.
  2. Then stack the white Lego on top of the yellow Lego, right in the middle.
  3. Attach the green/black Legos on the yellow Lego.

Step 3: Continue to Build Middle of Body

Legos needed:

  • [2] 1x4 white blank plates
  • [2] 1x1 white blank plates
  • [1] 2x2 black Lego block
  • [2] 1x2 red Lego blocks
  • [2] 1x4 gray hinge blocks
  1. Attach both 1x4 white blank plates onto the two black Legos.
  2. Place one 1x1 white blank plate on the outer edge of the white Lego, and repeat on the other edge.
  3. Place the black Lego block into the middle of the white Lego.
  4. Flip the Lego over so you can see yellow Lego.
  5. Place the two red Legos on the right and left edges of the yellow Lego.
  6. Attach the two gray Legos on top of the two red Legos. Make sure the gray Legos have the two bumps facing outward.

Step 4: Continue to Build Inside of Body

Legos needed:

  • [1] 2x2 yellow Lego blocks
  • [4] 1x1 black Lego blocks
  • [2] 1x2 red Lego blocks
  1. Attach one red Lego block onto two black Lego blocks so that the red Lego sits on the black Lego's edge. Repeat for the other red and two black Legos to make two sets.
  2. Place the black Lego block (that has the red Lego attached) onto one side of the yellow Lego. Repeat the same process on the other side.
  3. You should now flip over entire Lego block and carefully place it on top of the other model. Note: The models do not attach together.
  4. Carefully flip both models over so that the model you had just built is underneath the other model.

Step 5: Build Walls for Body

Legos needed:

  • [2] 1x1 white dot-round plates
  • [12] 2x4 green Lego blocks
  1. Place one white dot-round plate onto one green Lego block, on the far left. Repeat for two sets of these.
  2. Place two green Lego blocks together and attach one of the sets (with the white dot-round plate) onto both Lego blocks to snap everything together. You should see a pyramid-like shape.
  3. Continue to snap the other set onto two other green blocks. You should have 2 sets of 3 green Lego blocks snapped together.
  4. Continue to make another 2 sets of 3 green Lego blocks snapped together. In total, you should have 4 sets.

Step 6: Attach Walls to Body

Legos needed:

  • [4] 1x1 green Lego blocks
  • [2] 2x4 green Lego blocks
  1. Now we will use the the four sets of Lego walls made in Step 5 to attach to the model. You should be very careful when attaching the walls. The model is very fragile and needs to be handled delicately.
  2. Make sure the 2 sets with the white dot-round plates are placed on the sides that have the green bumps.
  3. Then stack two 1x1 Legos on top of a 2x4 green Lego. Repeat for the second 2x4 Lego.
  4. Then attach the two sets onto the last face of the body.

Step 7: Complete Body With Arms and Legs

Legos needed:

  • [4] 1x1 green tubular leg Legos
  • [2] 2x2 green circular arm plates
  • [4] 2x2 green circular raised arm plates
  1. Stack two green circular raised leg plates on top of each other. Repeat the process with the other two plates.
  2. Attach the leg plate onto the bottom of the model.
  3. Now attach 3 different components of the arms.
  4. Once you have the arm done, attach the arms onto the white dot round plates.

Step 8: Begin to Build Head

Legos needed:

  • [2] 1x2 white hinge plates
  • [2] 1x1 green Lego blocks
  • [2] 1x4 gray hinge blocks
  • [8] 1x1 white Lego blocks
  1. Attach the green Lego block onto the white hinge plate.
  2. Repeat for second set.
  3. Stack two white Lego blocks onto one end of a gray hinge block.
  4. Stack two white Lego blocks onto the other end of a gray hinge block.
  5. Snap on the white hinge plate onto the middle of the gray hinge block.
  6. Repeat for a second set.

Step 9: Continue to Build Framework of Head

Legos needed:

  • [4] 1x1 green Lego blocks
  • [2] 1x4 green Lego blocks
  1. Connect the two sets of blocks by attached an 1x4 green Lego block on the right and left sides.
  2. Once they connect, it should form a connected square.
  3. Stack two 1x1 green blocks on top of each other and place on both sides. Those will be the antennaes.

Step 10: Continue to Build Part of Head

Legos needed:

  • [2] 2x2 yellow Lego blocks
  • [2] 2x2 gray hinge blocks
  • [4] 1x2 white Lego blocks
  • [1] 2x2 green Lego block
  1. Attach the thinner 2x2 yellow block on top of the thicker 2x2 yellow block.
  2. Snap on a 2x2 gray hinge block onto the side of the yellow block.
  3. Repeat for the other side.
  4. Snap on the 2x2 green Lego onto the top of the gray block.
  5. Stack two white Lego blocks on top of each other and then attach to the side of the gray block.
  6. Repeat for other side.

Step 11: Continue to Build Head

Legos needed:

  • [1] 2x4 green Lego block
  • [1] 2x2 green Lego block
  1. Carefully place the framework on top of the other set. It will not snap in place.
  2. Stack a 2x2 green Lego block on top of 2x4 green Lego block, right in the middle.
  3. This will snap the entire head together.

Step 12: Finish Building Head

Legos needed:

  • [4] 2x4 green Lego blocks
  • [4] 1x2 green Lego blocks
  1. Attach one 1x2 green Lego block on the edge of one 2x4 green Lego block.
  2. Repeat for 4 sets of these.
  3. Attach each Lego set onto one side of the head.
  4. Repeat 4 times to finish building the head.

Step 13: Final Touches and Attach Head to Body

Legos needed:

  • [2] 1x1 white dot-round plates
  1. Attach the two 1x1 white-dot round plates on opposites of each other onto the front face.
  2. Snap the head onto the body of the Android Legobot.

Step 14: Completed Android Lego Bot

This is the completed Android Lego Bot!

Now that you have successfully built this bot, have fun by moving around its arms and antennas, and even swiveling its head!
