Play Antonio Vivaldi’s famous “Spring” on piano - learn how with this tutorial!
Antonio Vivaldi wrote “The Four Seasons” (original title in Italian: "Le quattro stagioni") in 1723, and it was published two years later in Amsterdam. It consists of four violin concertos, each of which is dedicated to a season: "Spring" (La primavera), "Summer" (L'estate), "Autumn" (L'autunno) and "Winter" (L'inverno).
“The Four Seasons” became Vivaldis most famous work and is still a hit today - it belongs to the standard repertoir of great orchestras and has been recorded over a 1000 times!
Our tutorial is a piano version of the first movement of “Spring”, the first concerto of the series. Pretty much everybody knows its famous melody!
While the piece was originally written in E-major, our piano cover is recorded in C-major so it’s a bit easier to play. However, if you prefer to learn the piece in its original key, head to our website or use our App and you can transpose the song to its original pitch, as well as use many other functions: you can change the speed, learn hands individually, we tell you which fingers to use on which key, when to push the sustain pedal, and much more…
