Step 1: WARNING
Never point these darts at a living being, there is a great risk of bodily harm. This is intended for target practice, or the occasional friendly game of darts ONLY.
Step 2: Supplies
OK, a few things you will need.
- Nerf darts of course
- plastic dart tips
- super glue
Step 3: Tip Removal
You will need to remove the tip of the dart from the foam cylinder. Carefully pull the glue holding the tip on, from around the outside of the dart. If you rip the foam don't worry, it's not a big deal.
Next pull the tip completely out of the foam.
Step 4: Trim The Tip
Now that the tip is out, it will need to be trimmed before the new tip is attached. Take your scissors and cut away all of the round part of the tip, leaving only the peg that goes into the foam and a little of the lip that was attached to the round part.
Step 5: Attach New Tip
There should be a small hole at the end of the peg. Simply screw the plastic dartboard tip into this hole, it should be a snug fit so no glue necessary here.
Step 6: Refitting The Dart
Apply some super glue to the peg and refit it into the foam cylinder.
Step 7: Size The Dart
Now, take you scissors and cut the foam so that the new dart is the same length as your original dart.
Well, that's it. Very easy to do, and a fun new way to play darts.
