Apple Pudding

Apple Pudding
This is a great alternative to apple crumble and easier to make!

Ingredients

    85g butter , melted
    140g self-raising flour
    100g golden caster sugar
    1 tbsp baking powder
    200ml milk
    1 egg , beaten
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 Bramley apples (or other cooking) apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Step 1

Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4

Tip the flour, sugar and baking powder, along with a pinch of salt, into a large bowl. Mix together the milk, butter, egg and vanilla extract and stir into the dry ingredients until you get a smooth batter :)

I just made this after seeing your wonderful instructable. This is really great stuff. I added a little, red that as a lot, of crushed red pepper to mine. I will make this again for sure.
