Introduction: Apple Raspberry Crumble
In this Instructable I will show you how to make apple raspberry crumble, its easy and delicious!
Step 1: Ingredients
To make this recipe you will need
1 package raspberries (6 oz) (170 g)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup nuts (I prefer almonds)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
Step 2: Cutting and Peeling
In this step you will cut and peel the apples.
First take a peeler and remove all the skin off the apples. Then cut the cores out of the apples and cut them into 8 pieces (wedges), then cut all the pieces in half again
Step 3: Cooking
In this step you will cook the fruit and prepare it for the crumble.
First get a small pot and add the raspberries , apples and water and put it on the stove to simmer (you might have to stir it) until the apples are soft
Step 4: Making the Crumble
In this step you will be making the crumble part of this dessert.
First finely chop the nuts (I use almonds). Then mix all the dry ingredients and chopped nuts together in a bowl. Then mix in the butter and pinch it in with the dry ingredients until its all in small pieces and appears crumble like.
Step 5: Draining and Layering
In this step you will drain the fruit and layer it in your baking dish
First get a strainer and pour the mixture into it (make sure the holes are small enough that the raspberries cant fit through) then once all the liquid is drained out pour the mixture into your baking dish and spread in on the bottom evenly then take the crumble and spread it evenly on the top.
Step 6: Cooking
In this step you will be cooking you apple raspberry crumble.
First set your over to 200 degrees fahrenheit
(it doesn't need to be very hot because you have already cooked the apples and raspberries) it will need to cook for 15-20 minutes
Step 7: Enjoy
Now you have made easy delicious apple raspberry crumble, Enjoy! This would go perfect with a side of ice cream.
