Delicious Cinnamon Apple Pancakes
Step 1: Ingredients and Materials
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
regular pancake batter of choice
Step 2: Apple
Start with the Apple. Skin the apple using either a peeler, grater , or a paring knife. Once it's peeled core the Apple and then finely dice the remains
Step 3: Batter
Now lets move on to the batter. You start with a Basic buttermilk batter. Mix in your tsp of Cinnamon and add a pinch of sugar. Keep mixing until the cinnamon looks evenly spread and the batter is almost smooth. Now take your diced Apple and fold it into your batter.
Step 4: Cooking
Put your skillet over medium heat. I used a non stick skillet but if you don't have one I recommend spraying your pan with canola oil. Next pour your batter into the skillet. Try and get it as even as possible. Allow one minute to cook or wait until the edges start turning brown and the top begins to bubble. Then Flip and allow another minute of cooking.
Step 5: Finish
Finished! The end product should be a brown color with swirls and spots of a darker brown ( that's the cinnamon). Enjoy!
