Introduction: Appleberry Pi

APPLEBERRY PIE oven at 400º

PIE CRUST:
2 cups flour +
1 teaspoon salt - mix together in a bowl

3/4 cup coconut oil } cut into flour + salt until crumbly

5 tbsp ice water } add 1 tbsp at a time, lightly press with the fork until mixture sticks together when pressed between fingers

Roll out on pastry cloth that has been floured, cut different pie sizes
Place in the pie pans
Add appleberry mixture*

Bake for 15 min. at 400º
Reduce heat to 350º and bake approx. 45 min. more


* Appleberry Mixture:

4 Lg Granny Smith Apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg~optional

**Pi Pie Stencils:
Print and cut out stencils
Place on top of pies and sprinkle w/ powdered sugar
Arrange Pi :-)
