Introduction: Applesauce

Have you ever made applesauce in the oven? Well I have now and this is how I did it.

  • 3 pounds of apples (can be a variety of flavors)
  • ½ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
  • Peeler
  • Knife
  • Blender ( smooth out the sauce)
  • 1 qt Baking Dish

Step 1: Peeling

Using the peeler, peel all the apples skins off.

Step 2: Cutting the Apple

Next you'll need to cut the apples into pieces if you have a apple corer it will make this step so much more easier. The smaller you make the pieces the easier its gonna be to bake them its just gonna take longer to prep. .

Step 3: Baking

Place apples in a greased 1-qt. baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the water,cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle over apples

Cover and bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender. Once Finish baking you can blend it to make the texture of the sauce smoother and you can just eat it like it is.

Step 4: End Product

Now you can serve the applesauce hot or cold all up to you!!!
