Halloween is an excuse to wear anything and everything you can't get away with every other day of the year. After watching Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, I became infatuated with every costume in the movie, but was stumped on how to recreate the characters on a budget..then voile! With my purple velvet jacket, closet full of vintage clothes, and crazy socks in hand, i became the mad hatter for less than $20!
