Step 9 Step 9: Finishing the mount (optional)

If you got the optional furniture screw cap (the gold bit below) now is the time to attach it. This is as close to exotic as our parts list gets, and any larger hardware store should have it. If you don't have one, the bolt will work just as well, it will simply be a little rougher against the plexi. Since it is going to be on the very edge of the plexi, scratching is only an aesthetic concern and won't hurt the book ripper's performance or the quality of the results.
