Assistive Eating, Universal Utensil Holder. Almost for Free

Many people suffer form conditions that affect their hands, it could be arthritis, muscle pain, or any other disability that does not allow them to even hold a spoon when eating. This universal holder is design to help those people and make their life easier and more enjoyable. 
This is a very simple and cheap almost free project but extremely useful.

Step 1: What You Are Going to Need

MATERIALS
A plastic package like the ones that a hard to open that has a nice big flat surface
Duct tape
Rubber bands
scissors
dremel 

Step 2: Cut the Pieces

measure your hand and get that measure for the length and for the width use 2'
or depending on the size of the hand of the person 
after cutting the rectangles wrap them duct tape both sides.

Step 3: Cut Slides

make two cuts on one of the pieces for the rubber band that is going to hold it on place.
and on the other make a cut about an inch from the end, here is where the utensils go in.

Step 4: Install the Rubber Band

put one side of the rubber band in one hole in a loop and hold with duct tape and repeat the same in the other side.
now put both pieces together and and close the around all the edges with duct tape.

Step 5: Ready to Use...

now you are ready to use, as you see really simple and cheap project almost free. you can insert pretty much any kind of utensil even pens and markers.
