Aunt Betty's Strawberry Angel Dessert
1 store bought Angel Food Cake
1 cup boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 12oz. bag of Frozen Sweetened Strawberries, de-thawed
1 pkg. (8oz. box) of strawberry Jell-O
Cool Whip (optional)
Cut the Angel food cake into cubes, set aside.
Place the Jell-o in a large decorative bowl. Pour in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add 2 cups of cold water. Stir. Add strawberries and cubed cake, stir together gently. Cover and refrigerate over night. Enjoy alone or top with whipped cream.
