Luckily for us, Google is intuitive. They have created an interface where you can log on by url:

https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth? continue=http://mail.google.com/gmail&service=mail&Email=Username&Passwd=Password&null=Sign+in

Fill in the blanks, and then navigate to it. It'll log you on to your Gmail.
