Step 3: Assembling Hopper

To make the hopper you will need to attach a cap to the 8 inch pipe, then on the other end attach a tee and to that attact a five inch section.

Cool!I plan on making it.

I finally made it today.

I love mashmallow guns nice job

if you want to make it semi but still have the clip just drill holes in the magasine and put a marshmallow in and after that a paperclipbent straight
Reminded me of a swastika when I saw it >.>...
replace L joint at the back with a T joint, then add a piece of pipe about a foot long, after that place the old L joint at the back along with a 4 inch piece of pipe going down, cap that off and you have a stock.
a good twenty yards? that's sixty feet, an I find it hard to believe you can launch marshmallows twenty yards. please load a video proving the distance then I'll believe you.
look at the physics involved. it works. the impulse of the air blowing leaves it with force for while. the longer the barrel, the longer the distance to a large extent. there are some exceptions though.
so you can get ripped off
i think the marshmellows will go further if you put the hopper by the mouthpiece before the 1st bend
hi I'm new here!
good for you!
Wars would be quite a bit more mellow with these!!
I've discovered a great use for old AA batteries. Put one in the hopper, and it pushes the marshmallows down just enough to keep feeding them into the barrel. Umm...be sure to put it in ON TOP OF the marshmallows.
I myself have 1/2 in. piping although a different kind of gun,(semi-auto)not that it really matters but I still can't get the marshmellows to go all the way down the hopper! What about making them skinnier or cutting them smaller? Anything else? Any advice would help, Thanks! John
let the marshmallows dry out or use mini-marshmallows. if they're dry, they wont stick together as much. and, as i said there, use cornstarch. i love the stuff for all of my marshmallow-related escapades.
I think cutting them smaller would make them stick. maybe you could put some sort of spring in the hopper to help them along.
i did something like this, but with a 2-liter bottle as the hopper. try sprinkling on a little cornstarch on the inside of the gun and in the marshmallows to keep them from sticking.
hey i bet no one has thought about this. hooking up an air compresser to shoot marsh mellows
sorry thought of that years ago
everyone does that, and they shove a modded sprinkler valve piloted by a blowgun all pressured to 120psi shooting golfballs, marbles, batteries and only occasionly marsh mellows...
i did
OK how about making a true magizene that pushes the marsh mellow up into the barrel
or how about you design that and put it on here
i wold but don't have a camera when i get one i will
another mod you could try is take a T, make a grip, put 2 1" pieces on both sides of the T and that way you have 2 grips
you stole my idea!
yep i did to
stop taking my ideas
you stop taking my ideas
i did and it rocked!!!!!
I made one with a bike pump
i did
I made one that you pump up with an air compressor to shoot the larger marshmallows. Much easier to fire, and you get a lot of distance:
Air Powered Marshmallow Gun Plans
i already have
You could also make the loading part into an attachment so it could be attached to other marshmallow guns.
sorry about what I saidearlier but how far does it shoot? Oh yeah instead of stuffing the hanle with cotton balls you could put tape on the inside, that worked well for me.
or use a nickel in the joint, fits perfect
I have built something like this before and it works really well. If u get hit at close range on bare skin, it has a good sting especially w/ stale m-mallows
i would put one of those four way PVC connector thingies at the bottom of the magazine, instead of the 3 way one, so you can put in something to hold and make it more accurate. im gonna deck out mine with a laser sighter and a scope and a stand and a squash and a....
me too!
Good job, gotta love any firearm, yes even a marshmallow one. I've seen people paint them in camo colors, and even put in CO2 tanks and a load of fancy stuff. And nice speed loader! There was another gun just like that on here though, but anyways nice instructable!
how could you add a co2 tank to it and can u explain it
yeah that would be great.
It can't shoot normal paintballs because it's 1/2 inch pipe, can it?
so where can you find a store that sells pvc pipes?
Lowes / Home Depot or any hardware store
HOLY NOOBS!!! Make it shoot GRAPES!!! that would be insane!!!!!!!!!!
this is almost like mine but i used 3/4 pipe 4 the hopper and grinded the inside of the tee to make it smother and on the back part of the t a the bottom of the mouthpeice i put a pecie of tape that way it takes less air and the very back of the gun where the elbow is i put a t the made 2 elbows come off of that thyen the hadles so its like a 50 cal mount!!!!!!!!!
add a scope :)
