This instructable is about how to convert any avi file to DVD video for Free. Also yes Divx codec. Sorry this is only for windows users. Also you will have to download two programs: DivXRepair and DVDFlick

Download software sites:

divxrepair.sourceforge.net  

dvdflick.net


1) Go to divxrepair.sourceforge.net  2) Scroll down until you see downloads. 3) Look for the description, “DivXRepair executable” since you want to run the program. Save the executable to somewhere on your hard drive.

1) Go to dvdflick.net, 2) Click on the Download tab at the top. 3) Now click on the text, “Download DVD Flick”. This should send you to sourceforge website and a then the download of DVD flick will pop up. 4) Save the file to somewhere on your hard drive.
 

After downloading the software please install them to your preferred location.
