Avoid your printer's auto-cropping.

Did your fancy-dancy HP printer ever cut off half of your image, thinking for some reason, that's all you want? Well mine totally tries to auto-crop it by deleting negative space around the image.

Slap some duct tape on the four corners of your scanner. This tells the printer to scan around the tape, so you'll get a full scan everytime.
