When pressing the button on the piezoelectric igniter, there will be a spark inside the combustion chamber because the electrons will jump from one to the other terminal. (High voltage will make the 'air' conductive).
The spark generates heat, which ignites the fumes of the deodorant that you've sprayed in there. The igniting fumes will make the gas expand and build up pressure inside the combustion chamber. When there is a higher pressure at the inside than at the outside, the 'air' from the inside wants to get to the outside. There's only one way to go, and that's trough the tube.
The tube is blocked by our BB bullet, so it will get pushed out of the tube at a high velocity.
