Introduction: BRICKLE



Brickle is a type of yummy cookie that is easy to make. 
You will need:
One baking sheet (around 11x17in.)
Aluminum Foil
2 sticks (1 cup) butter
1 cup sugar
semi-sweet chocolate chips (about half a bag)
Topping (crushed heath bar, pepermint stick, nuts, ect.)

Step 1: Prepare Your Pan

Line your pan with a layer of foil and one layer of saltine crackers.  Preheat your oven to 400°f.

Step 2: Mix and Heat

Put butter (1 c. 2 sticks) and sugar (1 cup) in a pan.  Melt, then heat intill almost boiling

Step 3: Pour and Bake

Pour your sugar butter mixture over crackers evenly. Gently spread if needed.  Put in Oven and Bake for 7-8 minutes.  It will look bubbly right before you take it out, and once taken out it will look crystaly and cracked (kind of).

Step 4: Chocolate

After taking it out of the oven, sprinkle chocolate over crackers.  Once the chocolate is melted from the remaining heat spread it evenly.   Add your topping, in this case, Heath Bar Crunch.   

Step 5: Refrigerate

Refrigerate until cool and hardend.  Cut or break into pieces. Using a metal spatula works best.

    I started an ibble for this last year but never finished it. I like way the crackers jiggle while baking like when you try to move apps on an i phone.

    Haha. Keeping the pan level will help prevent the crackers from overlapping. Enjoy!
